Chocolate Mug Cake with Hazelnut Center
Ingredients:
4 tbsp flour
3 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp milk
1 tbsp oil (canola or vegetable)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread
Steps:
Add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking powder to mug. Stir well.
Add milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
Place the chocolate hazelnut spread in the center of the mug, try to push it into the batter.
Cook in microwave for 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
Add more chocolate hazelnut spread on top if desired and enjoy!
Banana Chocolate Chunk Mug Cake
Ingredients:
1 medium banana, mashed
1 tbsp oil (melted coconut, canola, or butter)
1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chocolate chips or chunks
Steps
Add mashed banana, oil, maple syrup or honey, egg, and vanilla extract to mug. Mix until well combined.
Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Stir to combine.
Fold in chocolate.
Cook in microwave for 90 seconds to 2 minutes.
Top with more chocolate if desired and enjoy!
