Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

It’s impossible to say no to these gooey and delicious chocolate chip banana muffins 🍫🍌!


With no added sugar, these make a healthy and diet-friendly snack you can grab on your way out the door to class!


Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips

  • 3 bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup veggie oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla


Equipment:

  • Mixing bowls

  • Measuring cup

  • Whisk

  • Utensil (to mash bananas, etc.)

  • Muffin pan

  • Muffin baking cups



Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375F or 190C

  2. Mix flour, baking soda, salt, and both chocolate chip flavors in a bowl. Set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, mash bananas. Then, crack the eggs, and add oil and vanilla. Mix well.

  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture. Mix well.

  5. Line the muffin pan with baking cups.

  6. Pour the batter into each baking cup, fill until just below the cup line.

  7. Bake for 20 minutes in the oven, or until it’s lightly golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
