CREAMY BACON PASTA

Ingredients:
1/2 onion
6 slices bacon
1/2 cup heavy cream
5/6 cup white wine
1 cup grated parmesan
Ground sage
Ground pepper
Olive oil
Dried pasta
Equipment:
2 large saucepans
Measuring cups
Cutting board
Knife
Strainer
Spatula
Steps:
Preparation:
Chop 1/2 onion into small pieces
Chop 6 slices of bacon to bite size
To cook pasta:
Bring a saucepan with water to boil
Add pasta and let it cook for 10 minutes
To make the sauce:
While the pasta is cooking, add olive oil to a frying saucepan
Add chopped onions and season them with ground sage
Add chopped bacon
Pour in 1/2 cup of heavy cream
Season with ground pepper and ground sage
Add 1 cup of grated parmesan
Pour in 5/6 cup of white wine and stir well
Let it simmer until thickened
To finish off the pasta:
Once pasta is fully cooked, drain it and toss it gently into the sauce
Add some pasta water to adjust the thickness to your liking
Serve and enjoy!
