Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Wait! Don’t throw out your pumpkin seeds 🎃!!


Roasted pumpkin seeds take less than 15 minutes to make and are the perfect toasty warm snack to munch on after you’re finished carving your jack-o-lantern!


Ingredients:

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Olive oil

  • Salt


Equipment:

  • Baking tray

  • Bowl

  • Sieve

  • Tin foil



Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F or 177C

  2. Cut open the top of the pumpkin where its stem is to access the innards

  3. Remove pumpkin guts from pumpkin and place in a bowl

  4. Rinse the seeds to remove any goop or pumpkin and set aside to drain in a sieve

  5. Lay seeds over baking tray lined with tin foil

  6. Drizzle olive oil and salt over the seeds

  7. Toss together

  8. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown
