Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients

  • 2 sweet potatoes (peeled and cut into 1/4 inch slices)

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • Salt (to your liking)

  • Pepper (to your liking)

  • Sauce of your choice (for serving)

Equipment

  • Large Bowl

  • Baking Tray

  • Parchment Paper

  • Oven

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 400˚F (200°C).

  2. Transfer sliced sweet potatoes into a large bowl and toss in 2 tbsp of cornstarch.

  3. Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil to the bowl and combine.

  4. Add 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp paprika, salt (according to your preference) and pepper (according to your preference). Then combine all ingredients together.

  5. Spread sweet potato evenly onto the baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes.

  7. Serve with your favourite dipping sauce!
